In 1967, the Shelton family began building furniture and cabinetry by hand.

Today, Todd and Morgan Shelton, a father-and-son team, carry that legacy forward — still using many of the same tools and techniques passed down from Morgan’s grandfather. Together, they blend traditional craftsmanship with modern precision to create timeless pieces that feel like home.

After exploring a “safe” career path, Morgan realized that his true calling was right where it all began — in the family workshop beside his dad. Returning home meant more than just joining the business; it meant continuing a legacy built on family, craftsmanship, and the joy of creating something extraordinary by hand.

"For over five decades, our family has been turning wood into works of art. Every cabinet, table, and built-in is crafted from the finest materials by hand—just like my grandfather taught us.

At Customs by Shelton, we don’t build ordinary cabinets.

We build legacies."
